Grapevine Bed Lighting
Create Magical Sparkling Borders

  Instead of using traditional bed lighting, try this neat way of outlining your beds.

Directions:
       You will need bundles of Grapevines as long as they come, enough total length to outline the area you choose. Get some wooden stakes of varying sizes, from 2 - 3 1/2 feet long, and hammer them into the edge of your beds, about every 3 feet or so. Make sure to alternate sizes for the best look.

       Now you can tie up the grapevines with twine or wreath wire. If you need to, put a nail in near the top of each stake to tie off to.
Your vines should be going up and down is a gentle sweeping fashion. You can adjust the stakes and the garland as you wish. Always remember to step back now and again to see the full picture.

       Now add your lights, weaving in, out and around the vines in a loose, random fashion. The color of the lights are your choice.
They can also be tied in nicely with the Arbor of Lights or Grapevine Garland. Just start an end coming off the side of the arbor or garland, about 1 - 2 feet off the ground, and work it right over to the bed stakes.
